Are you familiar with the Discover Tab on the web version of If so, you’ll be happy to know you can now find it on your smartphone as well. Pretty cool right?

Additionally, Twitter upgraded its search function to enable users to see a variety of suggestions for different spellings or related search terms.  This will help all of the poor spellers across the globe!

Previously, Sprint announced it would continue to offer these types of plans as it rolled out its first LTE-devices.  Some thought this would include the highly anticipated iPhone but now it’s confirmed:

“If the next iteration of the iPhone arrives with LTE, Sprint will continue to offer a no-strings unlimited plan, CEO Dan Hesse told CNET. The company is already sticking with unlimited for its first batch of LTE phones, but it was unclear whether the offer would apply to next iPhone.

“I’m not anticipating the unlimited plan would change by that point,” he said. “That’s our distinctive differentiator.”

How To Re-Download Apps On Your iPad in 5 Easy Steps

Written by iHospital. Posted in iHospital iV

The best thing about having an iPad is that you get to do whatever the heck you want with and to it. If you want a baby blue Smart Cover for it then you can deck out your iPad with a baby blue Smart Cover. If you want to download nothing but sports apps such as FanCake or NBC Sports Talk then you go on right ahead and litter your iPad screens with nothing but sports apps; it’s your iPad and you get to make the rules.

However, with that power comes great responsibility, so try not to go too app downloading crazy or you very well may end up with no free hard drive space! And, yes, that can happen even on a 64GB iPad. We know many iPad users that have been in that situation and were forced to delete an app off their iPad to make room for a newer app that they must have.

Whether you have to delete an app off of your iPad because you need more space to download a different app or you found that a certain app you downloaded isn’t what you were looking for you always have the option to re-download that app at a later date; even if you paid for it.  This is especially important if you want to take advantage of all of the 13 beautiful apps for your new iPad Retina display

Written by iHospital. Posted in iHospital iV

If you’re an Apple and Mac fan, and want to know how the company’s been doing in terms of sales, then you might want to tune into the company’s second-quarter earnings call that will be webcast this Tuesday April 23, at 5pm ET/2pm PT.

To tune into the webcast you’ll have to click on this link Tuesday and make sure that whatever Apple device you’re streaming from is running iOS 4.2 or higher, and if you plan to stream the webcast from your Mac computer that it’s currently operating on OS X 10.5 or higher. If you happen to find yourself streaming from a PC powered computer for whatever reason then it’s best to do so using QuickTime 7 or above. Also, if you’re on a PC computer why not make your way to a nearby iHospital location and talk to one of our D.i.D. Doctor of iDevices about switching over to a Mac computer; but that’s a story for another day.

Back to the Apple second-quarter earnings call; many Apple enthusiasts and industry insiders are awaiting the call because everyone is interested to see how sales have been over the past quarter when it comes to iPhones and especially the new iPad. The release of the new iPad led to strong sales its first weekend out but how has Apple been able to maintain that first monster weekend of sales?

Written by iHospital. Posted in iHospital iV

For those of you living in countries lucky enough to already own a brand new iPad such as Canada or the United States this news item won’t appeal to you as much but if you live in a country that doesn’t have access to the new iPad yet then April 20 will be your new Christmas, as the new iPad will be released in 12 more countries on that date.

[Related: Wow! The New iPad Counts for 1 in 15 Apple Tablets!]

The 12 new countries that will be gaining access to the new iPad are, in alphabetical order: Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, South Korea, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Apple’s not stopping there though as another nine countries will also be getting their own new iPad launch release date just a week later on April 27 and those nine countries are, once again, in alphabetical order: Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.

How To Get A White iPhone 4S For Free… Kind Of…

Written by iHospital. Posted in iHospital iV

iHospital White iPhone 4sIf you own a white iPhone 4 that has been giving you some difficulties and you’ve been thinking about trading in your older Apple iPhone model for the newer iPhone 4S model you might not have to spend the extra money that usually goes with such a purchase.

How? There have been reports coming out, specifically from 9to5Mac, about how some Apple Store Genius Bars are accepting the white iPhone 4 in exchange for the iPhone 4S, and you don’t have to pay for an upgrade fee or anything like that.

All you have to do is make sure that your iPhone 4 is under warranty and head on down to your nearest Apple Store Genius Bar to see if they are one of the of Genius Bars partaking in the iPhone exchange program.

Your damaged iPhone 4 will be exchanged for a refurbished iPhone 4S but even if it’s a refurbished model that you get in return you’re still going to wind up with an iPhone that has a better camera, the A5 chip and, whether you like it or not, Siri.

It’s kind of a no-brainer to upgrade to a better all around iPhone when given the opportunity and it’s an even easier slam dunk decision to make when the upgrade won’t cost you a single penny more.

The reason why Apple is putting on such an exchange program is that some of their Apple Stores are low in white iPhone 4 supply and they need to re-stock their shelves any way they can and this is one option that will please many white iPhone 4 owners who want to own the shiner iPhone 4S.

Of course not all Apple Stores need more stock of the white iPhone 4 so don’t go into your local Apple Store expecting to be handed a brand new iPhone 4S, or even worse, purposely damage your white iPhone 4 thinking you’re automatically guaranteed an iPhone 4S for it.

If you have a warrantied white iPhone 4 that is defective in some capacity then make your way to your local Apple Store to see if you can get in on this upgrade program and if you do end up with an iPhone 4S you should then head on down to a nearby iHospital location to thank us for this tip and get a new screen protector placed on your new iPhone 4S by one of our trusted D.i.D. Doctor of iDevices.
