Did you know your credit card might cover repair costs for your iPhone? Simply pay your cell phone bill with an eligible credit card, and you can receive coverage for the devices on a single cell phone plan.

Some cards that offer this unique repair coverage include Chase Ink Business Preferred Card and several WellsFargo Visa and American Express Cards. All cards are different, and have specific criteria, deductibles, and rules so make sure to read all the fine print! 

Chase Ink Business Preferred

  • Chase protects your phone and any eligible phones listed on the same bill with supplemental protection.
  • Subject to a $100 deductible per claim and a maximum of three claims per 12-month period.
  • Maximum benefit limit is $600 per claim and $1,800 per 12-month period.
  • Protection covers damage and theft. 
    • Does not cover cell phones that are lost.

Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa Card & Propel American Express Card

  • Get up to $600 of protection.
  • Subject to $25 deductible.
  • Covers damage or theft.
    • Does not cover cell phones that are lost.

Wells Fargo Cash Back College Visa Card

  • Subject to a $25 deductible per claim and a maximum of 2 claims per 12 month period.
  • Maximum benefit limit is $600 per occurrence and $1,200 per 12 month period.
  • You will receive no more than the value of the original phone or a replacement phone with similar features and functionality.
    • Coverage does not apply to cell phones that are rented, borrowed, or received as part of a prepaid plan.
    • Does not cover cell phones that are lost.
