Safari allows you to easily save websites for easy viewing later on. An icon with the shortcut will appear on the home screen of your device.
How to Add Safari Shortcuts
1. Using the Safari Internet browser on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, visit the website you wish to bookmark. We have used iHospital’s website for this example located at http://www.iHospital.com. After the website has fully loaded, tap the right facing arrow at the bottom of the page.
2. A menu will now be displayed on your Safari Internet browser. Select “Add to Home Screen”.
3. The “Add to Home Screen” page will appear. In our example, the text iHospital - appears. We can edit this title to only include the word iHospital and omit the hyphen. Once you have decided on your shortcut name hit “Add” and you’re done.
4. A new icon will appear on the home screen of your iPod Touch, iPad or iPhone with your newly created shortcut.
