In this post, we will teach you how to set up the Buffer Bookmarklet on your iPad.
In case you don’t know, Buffer is a neat way to schedule and post great content you find on the web. Top up your Buffer account at one time in the day and your articles and stories are posted at set times throughout the day. You can schedule and share content via Buffer to your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
If you love Buffer, and also own an iPad, you’ve probably wondered how to install the Buffer Bookmarklet on your iPad. It’s not easy to figure out, so our D.i.D. Doctor of iDevices decided to do some research and write this post.
Here’s how to set up the Buffer Bookmarklet on your iPad (hat tip to Lorenzo Orlando for the great info on how to set this up):
2. Open this post via Safari on your iPad and copy this code:
3. Click on the share icon and click “Add Bookmark” and hit save.
4. Click on the bookmark icon and click on the “Bookmarks Bar” folder, and click Edit.
5. Select the Bookmark you just created and rename it to “Add to Buffer”. Delete the URL shown and paste the code you copied above in step 2. Click “Done”.
These five steps will add the Buffer Bookmarklet to your beloved iPad. Go to your favorite website or blog and test it out, you will definitely love how easy it is to share content. Zite is one of our favorite iPad apps to find great content.
Let us know how the above steps work for you and if you have any issues at all please let us know in the comments below, or come in to chat with us at one of our iHospital locations.
