It’s been awhile since we last introduced you to one of our D.i.D. Doctor of iDevices. In case you forget, these are the expert technicians who exclusively upgrade and repair Apple devices including iPods, iPads, iPhones and Mac computers. In our previous introductory post we introduced you to Andrew G. Deeson. This week it’s the adventurous Frank Baldiwn. Without further ado, meet Frank!
Which iHosptial do you work at Frank?
What is your favorite Apple Device and why?
The iPhone. I wouldn’t know what to do without it.
What do you love about your job?
I love the fact that instead of dreaming, I’m fixing and upgrading iPods, iPads, and Macs. It’s reality.
What do you think the iPhone 5’s best new feature will be?
New form factor. I have been dreaming of what the new iPhone will look like.
What adjective would you use to describe yourself?
Tell me about your proudest moment at the iHospital?
Throughout the training process I had the opportunity to check a person in, diagnose a hard drive issue, and finish the process of alleviating the problem. With the help of my team we were able to get the customer in and out fast, which definitely made me proud.
What type of mobile phone do you own?
Cats or dogs?
What was the first Apple device you ever purchased?
IBook g3 900mhz, it changed my life!
Rate yourself from 1 to 10. How weird are you and why?
6, I believe you are wasting your time if you are trying to be normal.
What are the first three things you did on your first day at work at iHospital?
Repaired a water damaged iPhone, iPhone display replacement, and a iPad digitizer replacement.
What’s the worst Apple Device damage you’ve ever seen? What was the story behind it?
I saw an iPad that was bent in half like a taco. The owner had put it behind their seat in a Miata and moved the seat back.
What’s the funniest thing you have ever experienced?
Watching my fiancée freak out about everything (bugs, climbing, walking through tall grass) on our camping trip to Red River Gorge in Kentucky.
If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
Christopher Walken. He has to have the best stories.
Decaf or Regular?
Regular. Cream and sugar.
