The Ultimate Guide to the Elegant New iPhone SJ

Written by iHospital. Posted in iHospital iV

How do you pay homage to one of the most innovative men in the world – Steve Jobs? If your name is Antonio De Rosa of ADR Studios, you create a  captivating mockup of what the next iPhone might look like, and name it iPhone SJ in tribute of one of the smartest guys around.

A classic reinvented. Again. -Anotnio De Rosa

Antonio’s design includes a sleek glass capacitive screen on a polycarbonate lightweight body.  It also sports a new core with A6 dual core processor and a jaw dropping 10 megapixel camera (the current iPhone 4S sits at 8 megapixels) .  That is as technical as Antonio gets with no further  features listed on his website.  The mockup iPhone SJ pictures depicts a slimmed down design, an Apple logo prominently displayed on the front of the phone, an elongated home button that indicates gestures are coming, a 7 mm width, finished with an edge to edge screen that measures larger than 3.5 inches which indicates the new retina display we’ve been hearing about.

All of this awesomeness was inspired by the late Steve Jobs.  A lot better than the creepy $99 Steve Jobs doll right? We think so.

Is this what the next iPhone could look like? Not likely according to Mashable, the iPhone SJ doesn’t fit into Apple’s style of dishing out new iDevices (launch-redesign-upgrade-redesign-upgrade). The iPhone SJ is too similar to the latest iPhone 4S. Perhaps the iPhone 5 will have a quad-core processor and a rocking 10 megapixel camera, but the polycarbonate back is too similar in design.  A genuine redesign wouldn’t include a metal and glass finish.

This isn’t the first time Antonio De Rosa has wowed us with visionary new Apple concepts we wish were real.  Check out his iCam, a powerful add-on to the iPhone 5 that even works with Siri!
