iPhone and iPad Application – Catapult King – FREE – 3 IV’s

What is Catapult King?

Catapult King is a game app that is designed for both the iPhone and the iPad. It was created by Chillingo Ltd. and released on June 7th, 2012. It has infrequent/mild cartoon or fantasy violence. The average customer rating is four stars in iTunes.

What did you like about Catapult King?

This game is somewhat similar to the world famous Angry Birds, and it's also made by the same company. It also happens to be this week's iTunes Free App of the week. In Catapult King, you become the catapult - you seek and destroy forts, castles, and fire-breathing dragons. The point of the game is to rescue the bobble-head princess and defeat scary looking enemies in this playful, fantasy game. Beating a level requires that you knock out all the guards on a castle. You earn extra points for extra destruction. It's a lot of fun. You can upgrade and enchant your catapult using magic you earn throughout the game.  You also have the option of purc

hasing magic packs that cost from $0.99 to $4.99.  As the picture to the right shows, you line up your catapult for more accuracy to take down all your enemies.  You'll have hours of fun in this medieval game application. You can zoom in and out to see the whole 3D landscape which is required to find targets that are far away. Overall, you'll enjoy Catapult King because of its fun levels, beautiful graphics and "angry-birds-ish" game feel.

What didn’t you like about Catapult King?

There isn't a lot to say about what I don't like about Catapult King. Some say the bulgy eyes on the characters are a tad scary, but I think that just adds to the character of the game. Because of the 3D graphics, older devices might not display them properly.
